Quick Update!

Hi all, sooo sorry it’s been a long while since I’ve last blogged about anything. I’ve been insanely busy lately. 😦 But good news, I’ve been busy with my sewing machine again. The project I’m working on is…well, I’m almost done with it, and when I’m finished, I’ll show you all pictures of it. Here’s a hint, it’s for my daughter Bella, but it’s not clothing or a bag lol. And I’m actually only sewing a small portion of it!! Yes, my arts and crafts side is coming out again, not just my sewing. 😉

Well I hope you all are having a wonderful day/night. Going to catch up on some Zzz’s and all that good stuff. Talk to you all again real soon!

New Years Resolutions and Finally home!!!

christina's banner 2!

Hi everyone, As you can see, we are finally back is Pennsylvania! Home sweet home, haha we were welcomed with snow and played in it all morning! Anyway, it’s been a CRAZY past few weeks. I have been vacationing in florida with my family, which was wonderful. I did sew a little more, but wasn’t able to blog about it. Time just got away from me, I mean seriously, it literally RAN from me, lol. I’m a little sad, yes, I do miss my family tremendously, but I’m so glad to be home. There’s nothing like sleeping in your own bed. 🙂 Plus, my little 2 year old has decided to enter into the tantrum and hitting phase, with which is best to deal with this at home. HA she is such a little stinker at times, oh well, God is definitely teaching me patience. 😉

So, here’s a quick note to bring in the new year!

My New Years “resolutions”
~Reconnect with my faith
~Weight Loss, only have 25 lbs to go until I’m at the weight I was on my wedding day! WOHOO
~Potty Training Bella
~Focus and spend more time with my family, (meaning my husband and daughter)
~Eat healthier

There are a few more but these are just the top five. 2013 a New Year to make memories, accomplish new things, hopefully this post has both entertained and helps encourage you. So do you have any resolutions this year?? If so, I’d love to hear them!

As always, thanks for reading, hope to hear from you all!

Just a little update….

Hi there, hope your having a wonderful saturday! So I never told you this, but the week I was sewing constantly for my craft show. My sewing machine, that was just a year old, decided to just stop sewing on me. Talk about a nightmare, and since I had no time to get it fixed, and the full warranty was no longer in affect,  I had to resort to buying a new one. Thankfully, it had a 30 day return policy, because I kid you not, it sewed extremely slow. Crazy thing is, this new one was the same as the other one, just the upgraded version. Anyway, I ordered one of amazon’s top 10 at home sewing machines. Granted, I had to keep in mind the price, but I’m hoping this one will last me longer than the previous one. Especially since I purchased the extended warranty. It’s a Brother CS6000i computerized sewing machine. Yes I did order a Brother again, I don’t know, I really like that brand. It’s at the same level as a singer, and the price is a bit cheaper. Oh well, if this one fails on me I will deff NOT be buying a Brother sewing machine ever again. So keep your fingers crossed for me!! lol

Thanks for reading, sorry there are no pictures today

Craft show Success

Hello all my friends, YES my craft show was a success. It was a pretty small show at a fire house, I mean we literally just had the table we sat at as our section. And there wasn’t nearly half as much traffic as I wish there was, but what can you do it was my first one. I mainly went for the experience and as a bonus, I met some of the neatest people there, and got lots of pointers and advice. It was definitely an experience, I would not have wanted to miss. 🙂

Anyway, of all the things I forgot, it was my camera. Thankfully my sister-in-law took a picture with my phone camera, when we were done setting up. Sorry for the extremely poor quality of photo. Next craft show, I will definitely have lots more and better photos.

Thanks for reading and I hope your monday is going good!

Ok so here are some pictures I’ve managed to take in between my busy schedule. I feel so bad I haven’t been able to blog more often.

Well this is it so far…still have a little more to do before the show…talk again real soon.

Only FOUR more DAYS!!!!

HI all, sorry I have no pictures for you today, I have had little to no time to take any pictures of my progress. Of corse, I’m still working around the clock, was getting drained and  pretty tired. However, with the craft show in only four days, my excitement and adrenalin are starting to kick in again. I stayed up until 1:30 am last night/morning and woke up at 8am with my little Bella. You’d think I’d be tired…I’m not, my mind is racing. I don’t  think I even need any coffee this morning, which is a first lol. 🙂

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this little post. Back to work now, talk to you all again very soon.

Gettin there…

Ok so I have managed to make a few more of those rectangle cosmetic bags, a large tote bag, and another beach bag. Wheew…I am beat, and this 100〫heat index is really taking a toll on me. My poor two year old, all she wants to do is play outside. It’s real fun trying to explain to her that at certain times of the day she has to stay inside so her skin doesn’t get “boo-boo’s”. 😦 Poor baby, thankfully, my in-laws are getting a pool installed soon so we will be able to enjoy this hot weather and stay cool.

Well, hate to keep doing this to you, but I must get back to work. Little miss went down for a nap finally, so that’s my cue to get back to work.

Hope you enjoyed this little blurb today, have an awesome day!!

p.s. I didn’t take photos of the cosmetic bags…honestly I forgot, and sorry, the photos aren’t as good a quality as could be, didn’t really have extra time to position them properly.
